• The Cut and Finish
• The Xanadu1816 – ‘Cut and Finish’ - Includes a free consultation with our stylist who will advice on everything ranging from the condition of your scalp, hair type and advice on products, best suited to your hair type. The stylist will discuss your requirements in detail and advice on how best to achieve your look. Upon completion of your precision cut, you’ll be offered a straight razor finish to your neck line with a refreshing hot towel; you’ll then be offered a range of American Crew styling products, to finish. These will be recommended based on your hair type and style. The stylist will finish by applying a hot towel to remove any excess hair and ensure that you leave the styling chair fully refreshed.

• The Shampoo and Finish
• In addition to the above (The Cut and Finish) you will experience a ‘Shiatsu massage’ in our exclusive shampoo chair; this experience is further enhanced by the application of a scented hot towel to your face while your scalp is gently massaged and cleansed. The stylist will apply an American Crew shampoo suitable to your hair type and wash and rinse ‘twice’. The stylist will then apply conditioner and perform a gentle ‘Indian head massage’. Upon completion the stylist will proceed to The Cut and Finish. (Please note that there is a minimum height requirement for the shampoo chair, this may make it unsuitable for some children)

• This is a centuries old technique of hair removal practiced throughout Asia. The barber removes individual or rows of unwanted facial hair using “thread” and pulling out the hairs from the follicle. The procedure is carried out using 100% cotton thread which is twisted and stretched along the skin lifting hair directly from the follicle. It is highly skilled and the results last longer than shaving or cutting

• The Xanadu1816 Executive Hot Towel Shave™
• Using only the finest products and ingredients available we have devised a customised shaving regime that will leave your skin silky smooth and totally refreshed. This experience cannot be rushed and must be experienced to appreciate. The service begins with an exfoliating wash, which is followed by an application of oil’s and hot towels to relax and soften the beard, this is then followed with an application of a rich lather using our own Xanadu1816 real Badger Hair brush which help’s lift the hair on the face to give a really close shave. The oil and lather combination helps maintain a moisture barrier between the skin and blade which lessens the risk of “razor burn” This is repeated by the application of a second hot towel and lather and is finished by the compression of a cold towel to help close pores. The barber will then finish by the application of a specialist post-shave balm which intensely hydrates and soothes to shorten post-shave recovery time for the skin.
